“The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there
will be one Lord, and his name the only name.” Zech 14:9

DAY IN COURT FOR THE SON OF HAMAS: Former Shin Bet spy and “Son of Hamas” Mosab Hassan Yousef faces an immigration judge in San Diego this week to plead against deportation. Yousef is the first-born son of one of the founders of the terrorist organization that now controls Gaza. But his subsequent conversion to Christianity, combined with his public admission of helping Israel, marked him as a traitor among his own people. Yousef would indeed be likely to face death if he returned to Judea and Samaria following the publication of his book, “Son of Hamas,” in which he confessed to collaborating with Israel for a decade. (Arutz-7)  Pray for protection for Yousef and for a miracle that will enable him to remain in the US.

TURKEY REFUSES ISRAEL USE OF AIRSPACE:  Turkey has refused to allow Israeli military planes to use its airspace – another sign of the increasing tensions between the two countries. Turkey’s relationship with Israel, traditionally a positive one, has been in decline over the past two years, and took a sharp plunge following the flotilla incident, organized by the Turkish terrorist-affiliated IHH group. The Turks withdrew their ambassador to Israel and stated he would not return unless Israel apologizes for the raid, returns the seized ships, agrees to an international investigation into the raid and compensates the families of the victims. In fact, however, the Israel Navy warned the flotilla that the Gaza region is closed to maritime traffic. In addition, during a search aboard the Mavi Marmara ship, IDF forces uncovered a cache of weapons used to violently attack the soldiers. Flotilla leaders had stated before they set out that violence was premeditated. Turkish supporters for flotillas aimed at breaking Israel’s maritime embargo on Hamas-controlled Gaza recently raised the Nazi flag with an expression of gratitude.  Turkey was not allied with the Nazi regime but retained important trade agreements that allowed Nazi Germany to import key materials. TERRORISTS ATTACK UN SPONSORED SUMMER CAMP IN GAZA: A group of 25 armed and masked men attacked and set fire to a UN-sponsored summer camp in Gaza on Monday, the UN Relief and Works Agency said.  Witnesses said terrorists tied up the guards at the camp before setting it on fire. Monday's attack was the second case of a summer camp set on fire in Gaza this year. In May, masked terrorists burned another UN-sponsored summer camp hours before it was due to open. Officials said the camp attacked Monday would be rebuilt immediately and the organization's summer games - which provide 1,200 summer camps for more than 250,000 children across Gaza - will continue. CONGRESSWOMAN FEARS HIZBULLAH BOMBINGS IN US: A Republican Congresswoman has warned that Hizbullah terrorists, hooked up with Mexican drug cartels, may be planning ”Israel-like bombings” against customs officials on the US border.  North Carolina legislator Sue Myrick is lobbying for a task force "to engage US and Mexican law enforcement and border patrol officials about Hizbullah's presence, activities, and connections to gangs and drug cartels."  Myrick also warned the US may face terror tunnels, similar to those Hizbullah used in the Second Lebanon War against Israel in 2006.  Noting the terrain along the American-Mexican border is similar to Israel’s, she wrote, “Hizbullah is extremely skilled in the construction of tunnels. Israel has time and again found Hizbullah tunnels leading into Israel, some of which are large enough to accommodate trucks.  Intelligence officials say the drug cartels, in an effort to dig more effective tunnels, are employing the expertise of Hizbullah. 850 ORTHODOX RABBIS AGAINST OBAMA’S SUPREME COURT CHOICE: The Rabbinical Alliance of America, which represents 850 Orthodox Rabbis, harshly criticized US President Obama's nominee for the Supreme Court, Elena Kagan.  Rabbi Yehuda Levin, speaking on behalf of the body of rabbis, issued a statement explaining their position, saying: "Ms. Kagan is not fit to serve on the Supreme Court or any other court. It is clear from Ms. Kagan's record on issues such as abortion-on-demand, Partial-Birth-Abortion, the radical homosexual and lesbian agenda, the "supremacy" of the anti-family panoply over religious liberties of Biblical adherents, that she will function as a flame-throwing radical, hastening society's already steep decline into Sodom and Gommorah." Levin said his fellow rabbis and hundreds of thousands of Orthodox Jews are confused at the Obama's choice of Kagan. (Inn)  “In the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.” 2 Tim 3:1-5

PALLIN KNOCKS OBAMA FOR SELLING OUT ISRAEL AND OTHER ALLIES: Sarah Palin, who ran on the Republican ticket against the Obama-Biden team in 2008, tore into the president for “selling out” American allies, especially Israel. She castigated the president’s lack of outright support for Israel’s interception of the Turkish-led flotilla, which ended in bloodshed May 31 when terror activists attacked Israeli Navy commandos who prevented the ships from reaching Hamas-controlled Gaza.  President Obama’s popularity has dropped sharply the past several months following lingering economic uncertainty, lack of dramatic progress in the war against terror in Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan, and most lately the failure to put a quick end to the colossal oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. FDA APPROVES TWO TEVA PHARMACEUTICALS GENERICS: Israeli pharmaceutical giant Teva Pharmaceuticals has had major success with the US Food and Drug Administration this week. Teva has had its generic version of AstraZenca's breast cancer drug Arimidex approved for sale in the US, to treat breast cancer in post-menopausal women. The FDA also approved Venlafaxine HC1 ER capsules, Teva's new generic version of antidepressant Effexor XR. Effexor treats anxiety, panic attacks, and depression. (INN)
