RIGHTEOUS GENTILES OF MINSK RECEIVE ISRAEL’S HIGHEST HONOR: President Shimon Peres presented the thanks of the People of Israel to nine Righteous Gentiles from the Belarus city of Minsk on Monday. The award of the Righteous Among the Nations is the highest award Israel can bestow on gentiles who demonstrated courage in the face of the Nazi Holocaust in order to save the lives of Jews. The President was especially moved by the story of Holocaust survivor Rachel Shmailovic, who related her experience and that of her family, the Davidsons, while their savior, Anna Trofimova sat beside her. Anna and her parents hosted the various members of the family in their own home for an entire year. Peres warmly embraced Trofimova, and said in the name of the Jewish People he would like to thank the Righteous Person who had saved so many Jewish lives. “You are proof that no matter what the circumstances, even under the fingernails of the Nazi monster, human decency can prevail.” (Arutz-7) “Let the saints rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds.” Ps 149:5

FOUND: ANCIENT EGYPTIAN CITY FROM BIBLICAL TIMES: Egypt says an ancient city from 3,500 years ago – at the height of the Jewish People’s enslavement there – has been discovered by radar.  Austrian archaeologists used radar imaging to find the underground outlines of the city, located in the now densely-populated Nile Delta area. The city is believed to be Avaris, the summer capital of foreign occupiers who ruled Egypt for about a century, beginning around the mid-17th century BCE.  It was during that time the Children of Israel began their sojourn in Egypt, which continued later with a “new king who did not know Joseph” (Exodus 1:8), enslavement, and later, the miraculous Exodus. ISRAEL LAUNCHES NEW SPY SATELLITE; IRAN UNDER THE MICROSCOPE: Israel successfully launched the “Ofek 9” military spy satellite Tuesday night, and the Defense Ministry said all systems are working. The Ofek, the Hebrew word for “horizon,” orbits every 90 minutes. It is the ninth in a series of satellites that Israel has launched with a high success rate. The latest craft, with a high resolution camera that can function at night, is the third to be functioning at the present time. Iran is part of their trajectory, and military intelligence officers have used the satellites to keep track of Iran’s activity in developing its nuclear power program. Officials have kept secret details of the Ofek and the information that it has obtained. (INN)

OBAMA ASKS CONGRESS FOR MORE FUNDING FOR HAMAS TERRORISTS: President Obama has asked Congress for another $50 billion loan. Meanwhile, he has announced he intends to give $400 million more to the Palestinian Authority and Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip without conditions, or oversight.  This is in addition to $900 million America pledged for Gaza and the PA in March, 2009.  Yet, Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit, has been held in Gaza for four years without even minimal human rights, even a visit from the Red Cross.  And Hamas terrorists, who are in control of Gaza, continue to attack Israel. Why should American taxpayers fund this insanity? This is in addition to billions that American taxpayers have already poured into the Palestinian Authority, with little or nothing to show for it.  "Humanitarian aid" used to improve daily life and encourage self-sufficiency can be justified; but using the money to buy weapons and dig smuggling tunnels cannot. Without some way of verifying how the money will be spent, these funds will be used to further build the Hamas terrorist kingdom. For American workers standing in unemployment lines, with aching feet and broken hearts, threatened with foreclosures and not enough money to support their families, they might ask who deserves such gifts. (Israel National News) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Whether you are an Obama fan, or not, everyone in the US needs to know HB 1388 was passed, behind your backs last year.  You may want to read about it.  It wasn't mentioned on the news, just went by on the ticker tape at the bottom of the CNN screen; Obama funds $20M in tax payer dollars to immigrate Hamas Refugees to the USA.  This is the news that didn't make the headlines.  By executive order, President Barack Obama ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in "migration assistance" to the Palestinian refugees and "conflict victims" in Gaza.  The "presidential determination," which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the US, was signed and appears in the Federal Register.  Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.  Even now, Obama is allowing thousands of Palestinian refugees to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense. US EMBASSY STAFF TOLD TO AVOID ROAD OPENED TO PALESTINIANS: Further demonstrating the ludicrous nature of international pressure for Israel to prematurely ease security measures against the Palestinians, the US Embassy in Tel Aviv this week told its staff to avoid using a highway connecting Jerusalem to Tel Aviv at night after it was recently reopened to Palestinian traffic.  Highway 443 was the scene of numerous murderous roadside attacks up until 2002, when Israeli security forces finally banned all Palestinian traffic on the road. Earlier this year, left-wing activists playing off American pressure for Israel to ease the living conditions of Palestinian Arabs, successfully petitioned Israel's Supreme Court to reopen the road to Palestinian traffic. Israelis that use the road regularly argue it is unfair for their lives to be put at risk just so Palestinians can reach their jobs or homes a few minutes faster. Israeli PM Netanyahu's security detail has also forbidden him to use the highway. During the few weeks since the road was reopened to Palestinian traffic there have been several stone-throwing attacks against Israeli motorists. (Israel Today)

NEW HIT SONG FOR PALESTINIAN CHILDREN: WHEN WE DIE AS MARTYRS: An Arabic children's choir has been racking up views all over the world with the new YouTube hit  "when we die as martyrs, we will go to heaven."  According to the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT), the song is a hit on Arabic and worldwide websites and the children's choir performing it fast is becoming one of the most popular children's groups in the Arab world. Journalist Fawzia Nasir al-Naeem wrote that "[Birds of Paradise] is one of the most widely distributed children's song groups in the Arab world, and it seems to have crossed the ocean to Canada and Britain."  She added the group represents a new wave in Jihadist youth indoctrination, as it is child-friendly. (Ha’aretz)  Pray for these and other children in Islamist cultures whose minds are being bent and programmed to maim and murder the innocent because it is a part of their religion.  Pray for G-d’s supernatural visitations in dreams and visions to turn these children aside from such a tragic path.
